Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. Importing, seating, saving, PNG and PDF exports are all free, with no watermark and no sign-up. There is no limit on guests or tables to unlock.
Where is my guest list stored?
Only in your browser on this device. It is not uploaded. Clearing your browser data deletes it, so download a backup to keep a copy.
How do I import my list?
Paste a column of names, or columns copied from a spreadsheet in the order name, group, note. You can also upload a CSV. Guests with the same name are kept as separate people.
Do I have to choose exact seats?
No. You can just assign guests to tables, and pick exact chairs only where you need them.
How do I get a PDF?
Open Export and choose Print / Save as PDF, then pick “Save as PDF” in the print dialog. US Letter and A4 are supported.
How many guests can I add?
ChartSeat has been tested with plans of up to 300 guests.
Can I continue on another computer?
Yes. Download a backup file, then restore it in ChartSeat on the other device.
